My part of the lidington family came to London, (Peckham, Camberwell) in the 1850's and generally since then have been in North West Kent. Before that, many generations of the family were in and around Brackley, Turweston, Syresham, Whitfield and Whittlebury in Northants. From the family trees I have looked at most of the Lidingtons originate from this region.
